Machine Tool and Gear's manufacturing engineering department is a diverse group of talented engineers with extensive program management, manufacturing and applications experience. Product launch experience includes axles and differentials, pinion shafts as well as transmission shafts, gears and engine bracket programs.  Grinding capabilities in the form of through feed center less grinding, on centers in-feed grinding or other grinding and finishing requirements can meet your precision finished parts requirements.  Deburring, polishing and assembly are additional capabilities as well.

Process expertise ranges from CNC turning and milling to broaching, hobbing and spline rolling. In addition, both induction hardening and carburizing processes are done with a staff metallurgical engineer and a fully equipped metallurgy lab.

Our skilled applications engineering provides us the advantage of in-house turn-key machine set-ups to efficiently convert forgings, castings, powdered metal blanks and bar stock into precision machined finished products. Cutting tools are provided by a global network of suppliers utilizing the latest technology of tool materials and coatings to minimize costs while maximizing performance.
